Welcome to the
Jr Lions Football Program

Founded in 1999 with the philosophy to educate local youth football players with the same terminology, techniques, and plays as the high school football team.
The Jr Lions Football Program is the Feeder Program for the North Hunterdon High School Football Team.

Registration FOR FLAG & TACKLE FOOTBALL IS open.

NH Jr. Lions Flag Football

Grade K – 2nd
Practice 2 Nights a week, nights will depend on coaches’ plan & weather.
Games will be played on Saturdays. Schedule to be release as soon as the league posts it.
The Flag Team plays their games 9 on 9.

Flag Football Equipment given out to each player:
Soft Helmet
Soft Shoulder Pads
Practice Jersey
Game Uniforms, including Game Shorts & Game Jersey

Players are required to bring:
Cleats
Athletic Supporter with Cup

NH Jr. Lions Tackle Football

Grade 3rd - 8th
Practice 3 nights a week, nights will depend on level, coaches’ plan & weather.
Games will be played on Saturday night or Sunday afternoon. Schedule to be released as soon as the league posts it.

Tackle Football Equipment given out to each player:
Helmet
Shoulder Pads
Lower Pads including Practice Pants with Pads
Practice Jersey
Game Uniforms, including Game Pants & Game Jersey

Players are required to bring:
Cleats
Athletic Supporter with Cup

North Hunterdon Summer Football Camp

Summer camp will be held at the North Hunterdon Football field from July 15th to July 19th.

Introduction to football

NH Jr. Lions are excited to announce the return of the "Intro to Football" program for ages 4-6.

The program will run once a week on Wednesday nights for an hour, focusing on teaching the basics of football and building knowledge of the sport through non-contact drills, football education, and facility tours.

The program will run from Sept 4th to Oct 9th from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Stay tuned for more details as we approach the start of the football season.
